Divock Origi has been tipped to leave Liverpool in the upcoming January transfer window and sign for another Premier League club.
The Belgian forward has been struggling for game-time, only appearing in five matches this season across all competitions.
Contending with the likes of Mo Salah, Bobby Firmino, Sadio Mane and the now Diogo Jota, it is no wonder why Origi has fallen down the pecking order.
Kevin Phillips, the former Sunderland striker, believes the 25-year-old could soon be headed for the exit door at Anfield and has tipped Leeds United to sign him.
“A fresh challenge for him would be best and I am sure there will be a queue of clubs looking to sign him if he is made available,” the former England man told Football Insider.
“We have seen what he can do. He just needs to play football. I would not be surprised if he moves on in January and Leeds is definitely a potential destination.”
While the potential move wouldn’t guarantee Origi a starting spot every week, he’d certainly be afforded more first-team opportunities at Elland Road.
Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo are the main men for the Whites at the moment – but the Belgian has a lot to offer and could work his way into the side, hypothetically speaking.
