Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp showed his class on Monday night by calling Adebayo Akinfenwa to congratulate him for winning the League One play-off final.

The striker is a big fan of the Reds, and is seemingly friends with Vrigil van Dijk and Jordan Henderson – as the duo also wished him well on Twitter.

In a post-match interview after Wycombe Wanderers’ historic 2-1 win over Oxford United, Bayo told reporters that he’d like Klopp to hit him up on WhatsApp.

And that’s exactly what he did! In a clip shared by SPORF, the Liverpool manager can be seen congratulating Akinfenwa in a video-call.
