Why Trent, Robbo & Klopp kicked off on referee after final whistle v. Burnley – with videos

Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley on Saturday, and it’s safe to say Jurgen Klopp and co. were not happy with the officiating.

An inspired performance by Nick Pope kept the Lancashire outfit competitive, and Jay Rodriguez cancelled out Andy Robertson’s opener with 25 minutes to go.

It was the first time the Reds failed to win a Premier League game at Anfield in 18 months, but it wasn’t without its controversy.

Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold believe Liverpool should have been awarded a penalty, and took issue with the match officials on the final whistle.

The Scot was clumsily brought down in Burnley’s 18-yard box by Johann Berg Gudmundsson, but referee David Coote wasn’t interested.

Klopp also had a bone to pick after the match, but he wanted to talk about opposition players unfairly pressurising Alisson on corners.

The trio sought out the match officials after the game to give them a piece of their minds. Watch the videos below (via BT Sport):
