Liverpool have confirmed two pre-season friendlies which will take place later this month in Austria.
The Reds will entertain Jurgen Klopp’s hometown club of Stuttgart on Saturday 22, and follow that up by taking on RB Salzburg three days later.
There had been whispers of a friendly match with the Austrian champions prior to the announcement, given Liverpool’s pre-season stay in Saalfelden.
The Reds were set to attend a training camp in Evian, but plans were changed after the UK Government made it a requirement for travellers from France to be isolated for two weeks upon re-entry.
Both games – against Stuttgart and Salzburg – will be shown live on LFC TV, ahead of Liverpool’s Community Shield appearance in London at the end of the month.
