Former Liverpool forward Fabio Borini, who is now a free agent, is reportedly training alone in an unnamed Merseyside Park.
The Italian returned to the UK in the hopes of striking a deal with Swansea City, sources have told the Chronicle.
The 29-year-old is still without a team, but is keeping himself fit and available for any club that may show interest.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Borini revealed he asked Liverpool and Everton if he could train with them to stay sharp – but he was turned away.
Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it was always near-impossible for either club to bring an outside player into their bubbles.
In the same Gazzetta report, it’s claimed the Italian is now training in an unnamed Merseyside park to keep up his fitness.
As well as Swansea, Watford and Burnley are said to be interested in Borini.
